The starting point

In a restaurant group, information is scattered: HACCP logs to keep every day, rotas split between spreadsheets and apps, supplier invoices arriving as PDFs, on paper or through portals, no recipe costings to know what a dish really costs, and a central kitchen supplying three restaurants.

We knew this from the inside, having worked at the pass ourselves. The goal was simple: the kitchen enters things once, at the right moment, and management finally sees the numbers that matter.

What we built

Brigade

HACCP on a tablet

Temperatures, deliveries, use-by labels, cleaning plan, cooking and cooling, frying oil, non-conformities, and PDF export for inspections. Everyone logs in with a personal code.

Even offline

The tablet keeps recording when the network drops, then everything syncs as soon as the connection is back.

Rota and staff

Weekly rota by station, published to the team, leave and absences, staff files and a monthly hours summary for the payroll office.

Stock and food cost

Supplier invoices read by artificial intelligence, recipe costings and the cost price of every dish.

Central kitchen

Restaurant orders, deliveries, driver rounds and internal invoicing at the end of the month.

Group reporting

Revenue, food and labour ratios, prime cost, and an overview of every venue.

How we worked
01

Tested in our own venues first

Each module ran in our own restaurants before being offered to anyone else.

02

Delivered module by module

The team uses one module while the next is being built: no six-month wait before the first result.

03

Built for the rush

Big buttons, little text, a shared tablet with a code per person, and team screens in five languages.
